In the new version the battle field changes to Police station. Now 'Shiva' is a young officer who has just joined the Mumbai police. The story has been retold in the present context. The young man is an idealist who wants to do good through his duty. He sees his job as an opportunity to serve the people. Film portrays the conflict of protagonist's ideals with the harsh ground realities. It shows the battle between good and evil. Shiva reflects the righteous anger that exists inside each one of us. It shows a man who is not only disturbed by the harsh realities but also is determined to change the course of the happenings. He is not the one who could tolerate the injustice silently.
