Gangster is a story of Daya, who is running away from the law. He is a criminal. But even while he is a fugitive, the center of his life is Simran, his love. Daya and Simran stay apart but dream together. They don't meet for weeks and months together, but Simran still dreams about a life when she will have a child, a home and be loved by a man she loves the most, Daya.
Akash, on the other hand, is a careless guy. He lives a day at a time and does not realize how precious life is. Eventually as he starts spending a lot of time with Simran, he learns that life is cruel at times, unfair at times. But are their destinies together....
